Before:
This home in Kennebunkport, Maine already had a radon air mitigation system in place; however, follow-up testing revealed that radon levels were still elevated. The most recent test results came back at 8.7 pCi/L, which was higher than expected despite the existing system. After reviewing the uploaded test results and site conditions, it became clear that additional groundwater and sub-slab pressure issues were contributing to the elevated readings.
After:
To address the root cause, we installed a Super Sump pump system, improving sub-slab water management and pressure relief. Once the sump system was in place, radon levels were successfully reduced and brought back within acceptable limits.
The combination of proper water control and radon mitigation resolved the issue completely. Everything turned out well, and the home is now protected with a balanced system that manages both radon and moisture effectively.
Another Kennebunkport home made safer through the right solution—not just more equipment, but the correct approach.
