From 104 to Below 1: A Dramatic Radon Reduction in Kittery, ME

Before:
Gregg’s home tested at an alarming 104 pCi/L, far exceeding the EPA recommended action level. Despite the high reading, the home had an existing stub-out, giving us a strong starting point for an efficient solution. The area also had a prior cut for a dehumidifier that needed to be properly sealed for system performance.

During:
We utilized the existing setup, cutting down and sealing the stub with a fernco connection to ensure an airtight system. The line was then run above the heater, keeping the install clean while maximizing effectiveness.

After:
Gregg’s radon levels dropped to below 1 pCi/L—an incredible turnaround. He’s super happy with the install, both with how it looks and the results it delivered.
