This job included a low voltage radon fan. This fan will reduce operating costs by around 50%. We were able to hit interior drainage tile when core drilling and lowered radon results from 8.8 to 0.4 pcil. Client was very happy.

Before:
The homeowner in Sanford, Maine initially became concerned after learning that the neighboring home had radon levels as high as 16 pCi/L. An at-home radon test was completed on 11/24/25, which showed elevated results and prompted further concern. The test materials directed the homeowner to seek professional testing, which led them to contact us.

After completing a continuous radon test, the confirmed reading came back at just under 8 pCi/L, reinforcing the need for mitigation. The homeowner reached back out on 12/03/25 to move forward with a permanent solution.

After:
We installed a radon air mitigation system designed specifically for the home’s layout. The system was routed cleanly and exited through the right-side gable end, providing an effective and visually discreet installation. The mitigation successfully addressed the elevated radon levels and brought the home back within safe standards.
