Before:

Colby D.’s home in Portland, Maine had an initial radon test result of 11.8 pCi/L, which prompted the need for a mitigation system. The basement layout included several obstacles to work around, including heat pump lines and the oil tank fill area behind the chimney. There was also an existing stub-out on the opposite side of the basement that needed to be capped, along with a small foundation penetration that required sealing.

After:

We installed the radon mitigation system in front of the oil tank fills behind the chimney, carefully routing the piping around the heat pump lines while keeping the installation clean and efficient. The existing stub-out was properly capped, and the small hole in the foundation was sealed with spray foam to ensure the system maintained proper airflow and integrity.

Despite the height considerations in the basement, the installation went smoothly and resulted in a clean, professional setup. Another Portland home now has a reliable radon mitigation system in place and peace of mind moving forward.

Before:

This owner-occupied single-family home in Parsonsfield, Maine had an unfinished basement with 8-foot ceilings and no formal radon mitigation system in place. Although testing details were limited, the homeowner chose to move forward proactively with a permanent solution to protect the home long-term.

Based on the structure and layout of the approximately 1,400 sq. ft. home, we planned a system that would provide strong sub-slab communication and reliable airflow.

After:

We installed a sub-slab depressurization system using two suction points to maximize performance. The discharge was routed cleanly to the left-side gable end, and the fan was mounted outside for safe, efficient operation. A nearby power source within five feet allowed for a clean electrical connection and streamlined installation.

The finished system looked professional, operated smoothly, and provided the homeowner with confidence that the home was protected.
