Maine Radon & Environmental was hired to install a Radon in water mitigation system into this Falmouth Maine home after they found high levels of radon in their drinking water. We installed an Accell e-99 aeration system into their home. After install results went down to their lowest detectable levels. Another happy client.
Before:
Jessi D.’s home in Falmouth, Maine tested at 3.9 pCi/L for radon air. While technically near the action level, Jessi wanted the levels brought even lower for added peace of mind. The basement layout presented a small routing challenge, with the available fan plug located near the sauna and across the room from the planned extraction points. The goal was to place the system as tight to the corner as possible without compromising performance.
After:
We installed a radon mitigation system carefully positioned to maximize efficiency while fitting cleanly into the available corner space. Despite the distance between power and extraction points, the routing worked exactly as planned and the final installation looked sharp and professional.
The system performed smoothly, the layout remained unobtrusive, and the homeowner got the extra reduction she wanted. Everything worked out great, and another Falmouth home gained added protection and peace of mind.
When designing a radon mitigation system a site visit is extremely important so you can design the system to the house and customer needs. In this install the client was concerned about the look and wanted it as hidden as possible. In evaluating the property we were able to meet there expectations and more.
