A Cape Elizabeth homeowner contacted Maine Radon and Water Treatment after a radon test showed 4.3 pCi/L in their living room. Because the home had both a converted garage and basement, our team designed a dual extraction system to handle the unique layout. The process involved drilling one extraction point in the basement utility room and another on the opposite wall, then carefully routing the piping through the garage before installing an RN-2 fan to complete the system.
