I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with owner Brandon Lussier and his team at Maine Radon Environmental.  From my initial meeting for quote with Brandon, he was very thorough and took his time to determine the best install option.  This was not a typical installation as it required tying two points, one from the basement and another from under a family room built on a slab, and then routing through my garage attic where the fan was installed and exhaust pipe through the roof.On the day of the install, Brandon and his team arrived on time and walked through their plans with me prior to starting.  They completed the job quicker than expected, but did so with extreme quality which also included sealing all cracks in the basement floor and installing an airtight custom plexi-glass cover over the sump hole.  Less than a week after the radon mitigation system was installed, the readings in the family room were .4 pCi/L and 1.3 pCi/L in the basement. I also purchased a commercial grade dehumidifier from Brandon which drastically reduced the humidity in my basement from hovering at 60% with a residential unit running 24/7 to 42% running intermittently throughout the day.

I met with three radon mitigation companies. Maine Radon and Environmental had the most creative approach to install a system in our home. The quality of the installation was impeccable and most importantly has resolved the radon levels in our home. I highly recommend this company without reservation.I just received the Radon air test results post installation. The test confirmed that the installation works! The other companies I met with were all trying to sell a much more complex solution that gave no consideration to the impact it would have on our home. A couple of companies turned out to make false or inaccurate statements to support their design or up sell the install. I can't say enough about Brandon and his company.

We had a radon pipe that had been installed by someone else before we bought our house moved. They were very prompt and kept in great communication before the work. They tested to make sure the system was working and then did the project quickly and exactly as we wanted it. It was all very easy and professional. We had a great experience.

Brandon at Maine Radon and Environmental provided exceptional service from my first outreach. He was quick to come onsite with a few proposals. We realized there constraints with height and distance that would make it hard to use the systems he normally installs.
