We worked with Amy and Michael R. in Kennebunk, Maine after their water testing revealed several issues that needed treatment. The results showed arsenic at 19.24 µg/L, which is nearly double the recommended safe limit. The water also contained iron at 0.33 mg/L, elevated sodium at 77.72 mg/L, and moderately hard water.

To address the iron and improve overall water clarity, we installed a 1.5 cubic foot Greensand filtration system with an ozone generator using an Impression Plus metered aeration unit. Because arsenic levels were significantly elevated, we installed a Premier Axis Arsenic Removal System (7 GPM) with monitoring manifold. This lead/lag style system ensures consistent arsenic reduction while allowing for proper monitoring and maintenance over time.

 

The finished installation created a multi-stage treatment system designed to remove arsenic, improve water clarity, and protect plumbing and appliances throughout the home.
