  • Upon completing the backwash tie-in to the existing PVC drain (kitchen line), we found the line completely plugged. It appeared this had always been an issue since a Fernco was in the middle of the line. If the backwash had remained connected, it could have backed up into the kitchen sink. There had not been enough pitch on the drainage, so we repiped the entire sink line with approximately 60 to 70 feet of new pipe.

 

  • The filtration system and reverse osmosis system were placed into operation. We plugged in the filter head, and the system began backwashing properly once the drainage issue was resolved. We also installed the Airwell. Air mitigation was successfully completed.

Water system service in Livermore Falls, Maine

Customer came up for an annual check on the water system which included a high efficiency softener, and reverse osmosis system. We did a 10 point check on the water softener and found it in good working order - didn't have to replace any of the media. We also replaced the filters on the reverse osmosis which included the Prefilter and post filter as well as the semi permeable membrane. We also replaced the filter in our 4x20 jumbo sediment filter and brought 12 bags of salt for the customer. Everyone is happy!

Customer came up for an annual air well service. We took off the cover, tested the system and the static water level, and we replaced the filters. Customer can now rest assured that their airwell is in good working order.
